On June 22, 2016, at Washburn University’s Memorial Union in Topeka Kansas, GT Manufacturing Inc. was awarded the 2016 Kansas Governor’s Exporter of the Year. “This award recognizes our employees for all their efforts and accomplishments. They do a quality of work that we require from them and that’s not always easy because it often requires additional hours they’re asked to put it. The spouses and children of our employees also deserve recognition for the time we take from them and the support that they give us as we move forward” President Dennis Pedersen said during his acceptance speech.
